A Place In The Sun’s Laura Hamilton was accosted by a hungry donkey on This Morning earlier today.
The presenter joined the ITV daytime show for a segment on staycation holidays when she was upstaged by a pair of mules.


She was exploring a two bed cottage on a farm on the border of the Cotswolds, and told people at home: “What do you expect to find on a farm?
“Donkeys, of course!”
Laura, 40, reached out to pet the one nearest to her and continued: “This is Herbie and Teddy, two local residents who call the grounds of the cottage home. They’re very hospitable hosts.”
While Laura was talking, Herbie sniffed the pocket of her denim overhauls where she was hiding a treat.

He soon dived in with his huge teeth but Laura managed to pull out two carrots first, before screeching: “With a little bit of bribery!”
Viewers enjoyed the scenes, and one wrote: “Here for the Donkeys!”
Another said: “He’s trying to show off but it’s not doing him any favours!”
The property expert is currently on a break from A Place In The Sun.

It comes as Laura, who has hosted A Place In The Sun since 2012 and has helped countless couples find holiday homes, revealed she will join the cast of This Morning presenters “for the next few weeks”.
She will also be adding another string to her bow as she is in training to become a pilot in her spare time.
The TV star updated her bio on Instagram to read: “Pilot in training”.
Back in January it was revealed that she had split from husband Alex Goward after 13 years together, and two children.

Announcing the news, Laura said: “This isn’t something I ever thought I’d be saying but, after 13 years of being together Alex and I have separated.
“Our children are and always will be our number one priority and we would respect privacy for our family at this time.”
A month later the TV star admitted that she was “overwhelmed with sadness” after breaking the news.
