Amanda Owen to front her own show after being dropped from Our Yorkshire Farm spin-off

AMANDA Owen looks set to front her own show after being dropped from the Our Yorkshire Farm spin-off.

Channel 5 confirmed earlier this week that the hit programme would not be returning for a sixth series, following Amanda’s split from husband Clive.

Instead, Clive and the couple’s eldest son Reuben will be getting a spin-off series called Beyond The Yorkshire Farm.

It will follow the father and son as they travel beyond their remote hill farm in the Yorkshire Dales, to embark on an exciting digging business venture together.

However, Yorkshire Shepherdess Amanda will not feature in the programme, but bosses have hinted there’s a separate project being lined up for her.

Channel 5’s factual boss Daniel Pearl told the Daily Mirror: “The Owens has become everyone’s favourite farming family and millions have enjoyed watching their unique way of life.

“It’s fantastic that we can now all follow Reuben and Clive on their next adventure.”

He added: “We remain absolutely committed to the whole wonderful Owen family and hope to announce new projects with Amanda very soon.”

Amanda, who shares nine children with Clive, has also reassured viewers that they haven’t seen the last of her.

Speaking to Christine Lampard on Lorraine back in October, she said: “There are new projects going on.

“There are exciting new things going on that obviously I can’t tell you about, Christine.”

Millions of viewers have watched Clive and wife Amanda – dubbed the “sexy shepherdess” – raise their nine children over five series of Our Yorkshire Farm, which first aired in 2018.

The couple married in 2000 and appeared on ITV ’s The Dales in 2011 before landing their own show.

Since finding fame with her flock, the mum-of-nine has published five bestselling books, appeared on a range of podcasts and farming shows, and become a regular guest on morning TV.
