CASUALTY fans have been left feeling sick after a horrifying crucifixion scene in tonight’s episode.
The BBC medical drama opened with a man calling himself the son of god buying a nail gun before nailing himself to a billboard.
Ian arrived in the ambulance and told him he was there to help.
“I’m not your mate,” the man shouted back at Ian.
“I’m the son of God.”
With that he used the nail gun to nail his hand to the billboard – and to add insult to injury, viewers then got a close-up of a nail through his ankle.
It left viewers reeling and feeling sick.
One wrote: “I screamed oh my gosh!!”
A second said: “Christ, that nail through his ankle.”
Another added: “That scared the s*** out of me. I’m petrified.”
A fourth commented: “Watching #Casualty and love this show. But that patient doing that is sick.”

Later the man stole some nail scissors and hacked his neck open, determined to prove that he would be reborn as the son of God.
His life was saved.
