While the Duchess admitted to losing her voice during her time in the Firm, fans praised Meghan for finally being able to use her independence to raise awareness of a serious issue. In the letter to Democrats Nancy Pelosi and Charles Schumer, Meghan said many parents face the crisis of losing out on pay in the first few months of having a child. Following the release of the letter, fans praised what they saw as not just a powerful message but a great use of the Duchess’ standing in the world.

Jane Ross said: “Great, powerful, Letter.”

Another user named Royal Olive said: “Exceptional letter so good to see Meghan use her voice to push for.”

Violet said: “I love Meghan! She’s amazing!”

Katrina also added: “This is what real activist and feminist does – fights for human rights and especially women’s rights (considering majority of people who take parental leave are women).

“This letter is admiring!!!”

During the bombshell interview, Meghan claimed she had been silenced during her time within the Firm.

Indeed, Meghan claimed she had always been outspoken during her life, especially on women’s rights.

Meghan also claimed she had been given a clear directive not to comment on any issue by those within the institution.

And it seems her fans have noticed the wordplay in her letter, using it to take a swipe at the Royal Family.

In her letter to the high-profile Democrat politicians, Meghan said many parents are faced with the harsh reality of being unable to earn a living during the early years of parenthood.

She wrote: “In June, my husband and I welcomed our second child.

“Like any parents, we were overjoyed.

“Like many parents, we were overwhelmed.

“Like fewer parents, we weren’t confronted with the harsh reality of either spending those first few critical months with our baby or going back to work.

“We knew we could take her home, and in that vital and sacred stage, devote any and everything to our kids and to our family.
