DEAR DEIDRE: EVERY night my husband snores so loudly that he keeps me awake.
I’m at the end of my tether from lack of sleep, and it has started to cause big rows between us.
It’s also affecting my work because I’m so tired all the time.
I’m 46 and he’s 48.
We’ve been married for 20 years and he has always snored, but lately it’s become much worse.
Being in bed with him is like trying to sleep next to a motorbike revving up.

He sleeps wearing a mouthpiece and a nose clip, but they do absolutely nothing.
If I kick or nudge him, he rolls over and stops for a moment – then the snoring starts up again.
I’ve tried sleeping in the spare bedroom, but I can still hear him.

BROKEN HEART
Girlfriend told me she has fallen out of love with me and now I feel so lost
DEIDRE SAYS: Lack of sleep is no joke and snoring can cause issues in even the strongest of relationships.
Pick a moment to tell your husband you have had enough, and insist he makes an appointment with his GP.
Snoring like this can be caused by health problems, or by being overweight or heavy drinking.
If these apply to him, encourage him to cut down on alcohol and get fitter.
My Stop Snoring support pack has more information.
