The Foreign Secretary has slammed French authorities on Sky News amid the ongoing row over fishing arrangements after Brexit. Paris has issued a series of threats including to powers supply to the Channel Islands amid anger of the number of fishing licences issued to French fishermen. Ms Truss argued that the French “have behaved unfairly,” and she threatened to pursue compensation if President Macron did not back down.
